Briefly tell us about yourself?

Thabisile is a God fearing young woman who’s hardworking.

She was born and bred in Durban (Kwa Mashu) in a small family of 4. She was Deputy Head Girl in primary and Head girl in high school.

Was there a specific moment or event in your childhood that shaped who you are today?

Yes, when my mom went back to school to do nursing. I was forced to be independent & to lead. This helped me to develop leadership skills at a tender age. Till this day, leadership is one of my best qualities.

How would you describe your journey so far in the entertainment industry?

My journey is proof that faith and patience conquers everything. I came to Johannesburg in 2018 to pursue acting and within 2 years, I got a role on one of the biggest shows in the country (The Queen).

Where do you draw your inspiration?

What drives me is knowing that I want to build generational wealth for five generations after me. I don’t come from a rich family but I want all the generations after me to live a luxurious life. And I want to be the one who will build that for them.

3. I don’t like fame, I just love my work (acting)

Please tell us more about your role on Alleway film and how has it impacted your career

It was really an honour and privilege to be the only female lead actress amongst male legends. I play the character of Nora (radio presenter) who doesn’t allow anyone or anything to stand in her way. This was actually my first acting gig that ended up on television.

Have you ever doubted yourself? And how did you take care of your wellbeing at that time?

I have doubted myself a lot, especially when I started this is because I didn’t know much about the art of acting. I decided to do an acting course and I took acting classes to sharpen my skills. My confidence grew over time especially after watching my great performance on Rockville S5.
